Paradox Access Solutions is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team!

JOB TYPE: Maternity Coverage with potential to become permanent as business grows

SALARY: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

LOCATION: Acheson, AB

SCHEDULE: 8:00AM-4:30PM, 10/4 Rotation (24/7 on-call availability during rotations)

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)

* Act as the primary point of contact for all dispatch-related communications.
* Organize trucking services and dispatch-related requests through calls and emails.
* Transmit messages to drivers in a clear and timely manner.
* Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure accurate and timely coordination of trucking services to meet project requirements.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery schedules.
* Monitor and track the progress of trucking services, addressing delays or issues.
* Provide updates on delivery status and address customer inquiries.
* Take appropriate action in response to unexpected issues or changes in project plans.
* Utilize technical proficiency for efficient data entry and communication.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)

* Proven experience in dispatching materials and/or equipment is an asset.
* Familiarity with trucking operations and logistics is considered an asset.
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a diverse work environment.
* Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions using sound judgment and critical thinking.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Technical proficiency, including fast typing and data entry skills.
* Highly proficient in English (oral and written).
* Willingness to work a 10/4 schedule rotation with on-call availability 24/7 during rotations.
