We are hiring a Director of Service Operations to build our Service Division from the ground up and lead it as a standalone, high‑performance business unit.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a builder role for a strategic operator who can create structure where none exists, drive growth, and develop a world‑class service organization.

The Experience We’d Love To See:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in service operations (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
  • Proven success building or scaling a service department
  • Strong financial acumen: pricing, margins, KPIs, and operational performance
  • Experience leading technicians, dispatch, and service workflows
  • Preferred: ServiceTitan or similar platform experience
  • Preferred: Multi‑trade background and a demonstrated builder mindset

What You’ll Get To Do:

Build the Service Division

  • Develop and implement the service pricing structure and price book
  • Design and install service systems, processes, and workflows
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance tracking

Own Financial Performance

  • Full ownership of the Service P&L
  • Drive revenue growth and gross margin performance
  • Ensure the division meets profitability targets

Team Development

  • Recruit, hire, and develop service technicians
  • Build a performance‑driven, accountable culture
  • Implement training, coaching, and accountability systems

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and daily service execution
  • Improve efficiency, close rates, and average ticket value
  • Ensure quality control and minimize callbacks

Growth Execution

  • Partner with leadership on marketing and demand generation
  • Leverage existing new‑construction customer base
  • Build a scalable service platform capable of expansion

  • Strong understanding of pricing, margins, KPIs, and service financials
  • Experience leading technicians and operational teams

  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar platforms
  • Multi-trade experience (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
  • Demonstrated builder mindset with a track record of growth
