Location: Charlotte, NC, Onsite

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a hands-on Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead production at their Charlotte facility. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced manufacturing leader with a background in regulated production environments such as food, beverage, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day operations for a single-site manufacturing facility

• Own performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity

• Direct and develop production, maintenance, and operations teams

• Ensure compliance with GMPs and other regulatory standards

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, OEE, waste reduction)

• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Leadership

• Be a visible, on-site leader engaged daily on the production floor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience

• Background in food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharma, or other regulated manufacturing

• Proven experience running manufacturing operations or a full facility

• Strong understanding of GMP-compliant environments

• Hands-on leadership style; comfortable being on-site daily

• Bachelors degree preferred (Engineering, Operations, or related)
