Ohio State University Physicians is seeking a strategic, relationship‑driven Director of Clinical Operations to lead and elevate the clinical and operational performance of our Dermatology outpatient practices. This is an opportunity to shape the operational framework of a high‑impact specialty, drive clinical efficiency and excellence, and work alongside dedicated leaders within one of the largest and most advanced outpatient networks in the region.
With more than 100 outpatient locations and a team of over 1,800 healthcare professionals, OSUP is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture. As a leader within this environment, you will help strengthen workflows, improve access, and support the growth of a specialty that plays an essential role in our community.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinic Operations, the Director oversees integrated Dermatology clinic operations across multiple sites. This leader will identify and implement workflow improvements, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, manage operational systems, develop clinical teams, and guide strategic initiatives that support both immediate needs and long‑term departmental goals.
You will engage closely with physicians, clinical managers, and operational partners to deliver consistent, high‑quality patient care and an outstanding clinic experience.
At OSUP, our work is grounded in inclusion, empathy, sincerity, and determination. We support our teams, meet people where they are, and collaborate to solve challenges together. As the Director of Clinical Operations, you will help uphold these values while shaping an environment where clinical teams feel supported and empowered to provide excellent care.
We recognize the importance of flexibility and employee wellbeing. OSUP offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans; retirement options; paid time off and holidays; wellness programming; and employee assistance resources. Benefit eligibility varies by employment status, but every employee gains access to programs designed to support work‑life balance and overall wellbeing.
You won’t just manage operations—you will influence strategy, improve care delivery, and help shape an entire specialty within a leading academic medical organization. This role offers visibility, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to make a lasting impact on both the Dermatology department and the patients we serve every day.
