General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the deposit operations and electronic banking functions; coordinating work within the unit or department, as well as with other departments and units; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information; adhering to internal policies, procedures, and practices; assisting the immediate supervisor with administrative tasks to support department/unit operations.
Essential Duties
4. Performs a variety of duties to support the deposit operations function of which the following are illustrative:
5. Utilizes check signer to sign expense checks and dividend checks and returns to appropriate personnel.
6. Functions and processes related to the bank's gift card product. Distribution to branches, reporting and monitoring.
7. Ensures postage machine and folder function properly; calls for service when necessary.
8. Adds postage and performs updates to software in postage machine when necessary.
9. Assists with incoming error resolutions; completed research when needed.
10. Handles or assists with all direct customer calls pertaining to questions about statements, posted checks, stop payments, etc.
11. Monitors and assists with returned mail and address changes, works with branch personnel and other resources to collect current information.
12. Performs a variety of duties to support the Bank's ATM/Check Card function of which the following are illustrative:
13. As directed by supervisor, maintains a working knowledge of other Deposit Operations functions to provide back up support when needed. For example, annual escheating, account reconciliation, daily exception processing, daily ACH processing.
14. Performs various duties for the review and processing of wire requests.
15. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
16. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
17. Responds to inquires relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
18. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.
19. Provides cross-training support to all others within the department.
20. Assists the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department/unit operations, as directed; may also be assigned special projects.

Job Location
First and second floors, Mifflintown Office, or remote, based on Manager approval
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum and/or information technology.
Skill(s): Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient typing and computer skills; proficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; ability to stand, stoop, walk, reach, and lift and carry items weighing 30 lbs. or less.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions normally required, with preference for experience in a role related to deposit operations.
