The salary for the position is $40,000 - $55,000 /year + Profit Sharing. 

 

The Counter Sales/Warehouse & Delivery Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders while supporting warehouse and delivery operations as needed. This role ensures customers receive prompt, knowledgeable service, while also assisting with receiving, processing, storing, and preparing inventory to support efficient profit centre operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

How you Contribute to Noble's Success

  • Provide direct sales service and product line information to our customers (in person, or by telephone/e-mail), and ensure customer’s needs are satisfied
  • Process sales, including entering orders, pulling product out of inventory, and scheduling delivery or helping buyers load orders.
  • Evaluate customer’s needs and upsell product where appropriate to maximize sales
  • Other related profit centre duties to support business needs
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, and loaded accurately and completely
  • Follow the safety regulations outlined in the Noble Policy and the Ontario Health and Safety Act, such as performing daily preventative maintenance on forklifts and making sure material handling equipment is operated safely
  • Deliver and offload material to customer job sites and shop
  • Responsible for driving safely, and always carrying proper documentation on truck

Must Haves and Nice to Haves

   You Must Have:

  • Minimum two (2) years’ customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Able to safely lift upwards of 50lbs
  • Valid G Class license with clean driving record/abstract
  • Availability from 8:30am - 5:00pm

 

Nice to Have:

  • Strong knowledge of local routes
  • Previous experience using Electronic Signature Capture devices
  • Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC products
