THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Contracts & Logistics Coordinator at Highstreet supports the procurement lifecycle by coordinating contract documentation, supplier onboarding, material logistics and delivery scheduling across all Highstreet construction projects. This role is essential in keeping materials moving efficiently, contracts organized accurately, and internal teams informed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and track contract documents, purchase orders and supplier agreements.
  • Oversee payment documentation, approvals, and supplier invoicing requirements.
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding, including documentation collection, compliance checks, and system setup.
  • Maintain organized and accurate contract records, supplier files, pricing matrices, and procurement tools.
  • Assist with tracking material orders, delivery timelines, and logistics requirements to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Assist with managing delivery routes, methods, and transport.
  • Support customs processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with Customs and Border agencies.
  • Maintain accurate tracking tools, supplier files, delivery logs, and logistics reports.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to keep logistics flowing smoothly.
  • Identify discrepancies, risks, delays, or documentation deficiencies for escalation to the Procurement Lead or Director of Procurement.
  • Provide general support to Director of Procurement and Procurement Lead as required.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Highstreet is looking for a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow with a company that values culture and performance. In addition to identifying with Highstreet’s values, the candidate should also have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, procurement support, contract administration, or supply chain-related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to problem-solve in time-sensitive logistics situations.
  • Understanding of shipping documentation, customs processes, or freight logistics (or strong aptitude to learn).
  • Proficiency in Excel and document management tools.
  • Experience working with customs brokers, carriers, or international shipments considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with construction materials or project logistics helpful but not required.

 

Compensation Package:

Annual Salary: $70,000-$90,000 dependent on experience



Annual Bonus: Highstreet pays an annual bonus based on company performance. A typical bonus for this position is approximately 14% of annual salary. Determined annually, the bonus could be more or less depending on performance results.

 

Investment Opportunity: Highstreet encourages all employees to share in our success by offering the opportunity to invest in the projects we build and operate. To encourage employee investment, Highstreet matches employee investment at 50%, up to 20% of annual salary (i.e. for every $1 invested by the employee, Highstreet invests $0.50 on the employee's behalf). The investments are TFSA and RRSP eligible.
