UTA seeks a Representative, Comedy Operations, to service the Comedy Touring division in the New York office. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. They should be proficient with database tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software.
This is a full-time position with benefits and will pay $24.00 per hour.
What You Will Do
Offer Confirmations & Deal Memos: Process incoming offer confirmations, prepare and distribute deal memos, and ensure all parties have accurate documentation
Database Management: Maintain and update internal databases with up-to-date contract, buyer, and client information, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team
Advancing & Contract Tracking: Coordinate advancing for events, (logistics, schedules, client/talent communications) and track contract statuses and payments to ensure deadlines are met
Contract Administration:
Review contract changes and edit according to UTA guidelines
Submit contracts to Business Affairs and summarize changes for agent approval
Communicate contract policies and changes to buyers
Ensure contracts are fully executed by coordinating with artists and management
Issue contracts and obtain ticket sales data from buyers when assigned
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Prior experience working in an administrative capacity
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including knowledge of Excel
Prior exposure to entertainment industry preferred
