ABOUT THE ROLE
Anderson Therapy Services is currently seeking one (1) full-time Clinical Operations Manager as the demand for our services continues to grow.

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the operational infrastructure that supports Anderson Therapy Services’ (ATS) clinical programs and service delivery. This role will report to the Clinical Director and provide operational leadership for Pod Leads, ensuring clinical programs are compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational strategy across both community-based and clinic-based services.
This position will work closely with the Clinical Director, clinical teams, and community leaders to ensure programs are strategic with practical workflows, timelines, and systems, as well as consistent, culturally appropriate and effective high-quality of care. This role also requires a deep understanding of clinical work within Northern Indigenous Communities.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Delivery
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients of all ages presenting with complex, multidisciplinary needs, and develop individualized treatment plans that are practical, achievable, and aligned with best practice standards.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions through both in-person and virtual sessions, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care within an environment that promotes trust, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Identify clients who require multidisciplinary collaboration and coordinate communication among caregivers, clinicians, and other service providers to support integrated and effective care planning.
- Obtain informed consent from clients, parents, or guardians and ensure they clearly understand the terms, expectations, and conditions associated with therapy services.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in accordance with organizational policies and applicable privacy legislation. This includes completing required documentation such as annual goal sheets, nursing station correspondence, community updates, and progress reports.
- Develop educational resources and handouts for clients and caregivers that are culturally responsive, relevant, and accessible, supporting ongoing learning and engagement in the therapy process.
- Remain current with evidence-based practices within your clinical discipline and actively integrate emerging knowledge and techniques into clinical practice and the organization’s standards of care.
Operations Leadership & Program Oversight
- Provide operational support and leadership to Pod Leads by overseeing day-to-day activities of community based and clinical based programs.
- Collaborate with Clinical Director to develop and maintain the therapeutic framework in alignment with policies and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Provide guidance to Pod Leads in the development, rollout, and evaluation of new clinical programs and service models.
- Identify opportunities where the clinical team may benefit from additional training, continuing education, or professional development, and support initiatives that enhance clinical knowledge and service quality.
- Identify business metrics and set pod objectives in line with organizational goals and KPIs.
- Identify operational risks, resource gaps, or workflow inefficiencies and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster collaboration between disciplines and services to promote teamwork, shared resources and clear communication across clients and communities.
- Ensure all clinical programs meet contractual obligations with communities and external stakeholders.
- Update the process and ensure the completion of contract, quarterly and year-end reports.
Clinical Oversight & Compliance
- Oversee the assessment of ATS clinical standards in collaboration with the Clinical Services Director and Pod Leads.
- Support Pod Leads with reviewing and evaluating front-line clinicians and provide guidance to encourage professional growth and development.
- Identify opportunities for professional development or continued education in benefit of the clinical team’s skills.
- Oversee informed consent process, while ensuring that clients, parents and guardians understand terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate digital client records, including progress notes, yearly goal sheets, and nursing station letters.
- Complete reporting requirements as required by contracts, communities and ATS standards.
- Complete timesheets and other administrative records as required.
- Stay current with college guidelines, evidence-based practices and internal compliance standards, such as Jane Compliance.
Pod Leadership & Effectiveness
- Mentor and coach new and tenured Pod Leads by supporting the development, performance and growth of the team.
- Partner with Human Resources to oversee the onboarding program for Pod Leads to implement and promote consistency.
- Collaborate with Pod Leads, Clinical Services Director and Human Resources to identify staffing needs and participate in recruitment activities, including reviewing resumes, interviews, and selecting qualified candidates where appropriate.
- Support Pod Leads in escalation of Human Resources matters, including performance management, accommodations and progressive discipline.
- Oversee caseload distribution by collaborating with Pod Leads for scheduling clinicians and adjusting schedules as needed.
Treatment Assessment & Therapeutic Intervention
- Oversee delivery of client assessments and therapy by Pod Leads, ensuring services meet clinical standards and individual care plans.
- Support Pod Leads and Clinicians with how to escalate when a child is at risk of harm.
- Develop appropriate and realistic solutions for clients with minimal resources and access to care.
- Build trust, maintain credibility and uphold strict confidentiality while using strong communication and listening skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers and team members about the client’s goals, plan and needs.
- Promote quality improvement practices to ensure a safe and effective therapeutic environment.
- Provide services virtually for remote Indigenous communities using virtual care technology, and in-person at the Dundas office.
Continuum of Care
- Identify children with multi-disciplinary care needs and coordinate meetings among caregivers to ensure best and informed client care can be provided.
- Consult with or refer clients to other clinicians as needed.
- Develop educational handouts for caregivers and coach community caregivers and education staff in implementing clinical plans.
- Ensure all clinical educational materials are culturally sensitive and appropriate.
Qualifications
Required

- Models a growth mindset by actively pursuing innovation, continuous learning, and leadership development, and by strengthening organizational capacity through coaching, mentorship, and professional development of clinical leaders and clinicians.
- Master’s degree in rehabilitation medicine, healthcare administration, public health, psychology, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 7–10 years of related experience in clinical operations, healthcare operations, or program management.
- Experience providing clinical services and supporting or leading program initiatives.
Assets
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in behavioral health, therapy services, healthcare delivery, or community-based services is strongly preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Jane, Connecteams, Monday.com and other scheduling and shared systems.
