Job Summary:

Serves as clinical Information Technology (IT) Resource for the implementation and support of a broad set of clinical applications. Provides analytic support for project planning, coordination of clinical initiatives and improvement efforts. Assists with clinical systems teams on IT activities. Acts as clinical subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests received from management.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Three years' technical experience: Preferred
  • Relevant health care experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Analyses and evaluates changes for organizational requirements and programs. Reviews documents, current system validation and trending analysis. Facilitates and assists with various work efforts of projects and operations within the department.
  • Provides input to, and customizes policies and procedures, training and best practices. Provides support for implementation of clinical applications software releases and new products.
  • Assists management with the standardization, utilization, integration and optimization plans for clinical applications. Develops clinical application reports, as needed. Coordinates and executes the use of tools for audits.
  • Builds strong relationships in the organization with core customer base (nurses, physicians, core team members, etc.) and organizational leadership.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
