Job Description

Garden City Tree & Landscape Ltd. is hiring an experienced Class 3 Driver / Logistics Coordinator / Equipment Transport Driver to support our landscaping and construction operations in Victoria and surrounding areas.

This role combines truck driving, trailer hauling, material delivery, yard operations, and hands-on field support.

This is a physical, fast-paced position — not just driving. You will be actively involved in job site logistics and supporting crews throughout the day.

We offer flexible scheduling, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and trailers to transport materials, tools, and landscaping equipment
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely alongside field crews
• Deliver materials and equipment to multiple job sites daily
• Pick up supplies from vendors and suppliers
• Support crews on-site with material handling and job setup
• Assist with yard operations, organization, and equipment movement
• Operate or assist with small equipment (mini skid steer, walk-behind machines, etc.) — experience is an asset, training available
• Perform basic equipment checks and minor servicing
• Work efficiently across multiple sites with changing priorities

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license
• Air Brake Endorsement
• Proven trailer towing experience (required)
• Experience operating larger trucks (flatbed, dump truck, or similar)
• Strong understanding of load securement and safe transport practices
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
• Mechanically inclined with basic equipment knowledge
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Assets (Not Required)

• Slinger truck operation experience
• Landscaping, construction, or civil construction background
• Equipment operation (mini skid steer, walk-behind machines, small loaders)

Compensation 

$28-$35 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling
• Our crew Schedule: Regular: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Seasonal Hours (April 13 to September 27, 2026): Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4 day a week 10 hour a day schedule)

Work Location: Different Greater Victoria work sites.
