Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role is ideal for motivated individuals who are proficient with hand tools, comfortable using digital systems, and capable of adapting to various stages of the production process. Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management- Manage inventory of tread materials, casings, and related products
- Complete weekly material orders and maintain stock levels
- Conduct monthly inventory counts and maintain audit-ready records
- Prepare documentation for year-end financial audits and inventory reporting
- Maintain organized pre-stage and finished goods areas
- Track tires throughout the retread process using barcodes and internal systems
- Maintain and update various inventory reports (finished stock, bank casings, unknown casings, etc.)
Receiving & Inspection Support- Receive and verify raw materials against work orders
- Label and prepare casings for processing
- Deliver casings to inspection stations and maintain accurate records
- Assist with annual inventory checks and daily paperwork
Equipment & Tools- Operate forklift to move and organize inventory safely
- Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
- Utilize hand-held scanners and Open Roads inventory software
Collaboration & Communication- Interact regularly with customers, associate stores, office staff, and logistics personnel
- Ensure clear communication about inventory status and order fulfillment
- Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional projects
Qualifications- High school diploma (Grade 12) or GED
- Forklift Certification and Propane Handling Certification
- 1+ year experience in an inventory or production environment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 150 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Effective communicator with a collaborative approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
