JOB SUMMARY
The Cabinet Operations Administrator is responsible for placing cabinet orders, ordering parts and pieces for production installations and customer care repairs, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to warehouse or jobsite. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Proficiency in cabinet terminology, drawing expertise, hardware procurement, supply chain management.
- Assist the Management Team with communication and pricing implementation for cabinet vendors, hardware companies, and third-party logistic companies.
- Place orders in a timely fashion to ensure installation dates are met.
- Order and track all replacement parts. Verify all parts have been “received” in the system and are available in warehouse before confirming Field Tech for repair.
- Review job cost reports and offer suggestions to management that maximize margin enhancement opportunities.
- Update drawings in 2020 as needed. Attend builder frame walks, record any changes needed and make 2020 updates.
- Build order packets by lot prior to order. Confirm all order information is in sync with the builder purchase orders.
- Walk models prior to install, verify framing, plumbing, vents, gas and electrical in the correct locations. If something needs to be adjusted, notify super immediately in writing.
- Schedule deliveries to jobsites and schedules full house cabinet installations.
- Confirm installations have been completed per the installation schedule.
- Monitor the hot list daily, place orders in accordance with the appropriate lead times to make sure cabinets arrive at least 3 weeks prior to installation.
- Any other duties management may assign.

MANDATORY
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cabinet industry, including basic knowledge of construction, installation, repair, adjustment, finish, and staining.
- At least 1 year of 2020 experience is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Collaboration and teamwork are a must.

- Strong organization and time management skills

HOURS
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with required rest and meal breaks. Full time, non-exempt. Overtime may be required in busier seasons.
