As an outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, Crossroads currently serves 9 states (PA, VA, TX, TN, NC, NJ, KY, GA, and SC) with over 100+ clinics since 2005. The Buy & Bill Procurement Lead supports centralized procurement operations for Crossroads Treatment Centers. This role focuses on process management, training coordination, and daily operational support.
Key responsibilities include monitoring supply and demand to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste, partnering with finance to reconcile invoices and ensure purchasing accuracy, and enforcing inventory compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
This role also provides go-live support for new and existing clinics and contributes to strengthening overall Buy & Bill team performance.
Day in the Life
Monitor inventory levels across clinics to ensure adequate supply while minimizing waste and overstock
Coordinate with clinic staff and vendors to manage ordering, delivery schedules, and product availability
Reconcile invoices and purchase orders in collaboration with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records, including tracking usage trends and forecasting demand
Support and enforce internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements
Provide training and support to clinic staff on procurement systems, inventory procedures, and compliance standards
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, cost control, and operational effectiveness
Serve as a liaison between operations, finance, and vendors to resolve procurement-related issues
Support REMS & ICS audits and ensure documentation is complete and aligned with organizational and regulatory standards
Lead and support go-live activities for new clinic openings, ensuring procurement and inventory processes are set up effectively
Assist in developing and standardizing Buy & Bill (B&B) processes across all locations
Operational Execution
Support new clinics through B&B implementation and launch
Provide ongoing training to all authorized ordering representatives
Report operational and revenue process gaps and retrain where necessary
Schedule & Locations
Travel onsite when needed to support day-to-day operations. This position will mainly be a remote role with a 10% chance of travel.
Education and Licensure Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement preferred
Experienced in clinical operations, EMR systems, training providers and staff is a plus
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to remain objective and impartial
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A self-starter with strong executive presence and attention to detail
Experience with Excel, Microsoft Teams, Word, and Outlook
