Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Business Operations Senior Manager to join our Insurance Operations team.

About the role:
You will lead the strategy and execution of department-specific programs and initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally, using data and insights to inform decisions and guide priorities. You will collaborate closely with leaders across the department to solve complex challenges, implement effective solutions, and drive operational excellence.
You will report into the SVP, Insurance Operations.
Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $149,040 - $195,615 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with department leadership to shape and advance the strategic roadmap for key programs and initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end program management of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
- Establish success criteria and performance metrics; analyze data to identify root causes, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop clear, executive-ready communications to articulate strategy, priorities, and progress across the organization.
- Facilitate department-wide forums, including leadership meetings and all-hands sessions, by managing agendas, driving productive dialogue, and ensuring follow-through on key actions.
- Create prioritization frameworks that help leadership evaluate trade-offs and focus on the most critical initiatives.
- Design and implement operating playbooks and workflows to strengthen execution and maximize initiative impact.
- Support the development and growth of direct reports (as applicable), fostering accountability and professional development.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in strategy and operations.
- 4+ years project planning and program management experience.
- Experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives.
Bonus points:
- Master’s degree.
- 6+ years experience working in healthcare or insurance industries in a strategy, business development, or project management role
- Management Consulting experience.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
