You will make an impact by:
As a Channel Partner Business Development Professional, you will be instrumental in identifying and developing a robust network of channel partners for our Protection and Automation portfolio.

Strategic Partner Identification: Research and identify potential channel partners (e.g., distributors, system integrators, panel builders, contractors) who align with Siemens' strategic goals and market needs in Protection and Automation.

Partner Onboarding: Lead the entire partner management process, from initial engagement and qualification to contract negotiation and successful onboarding.

Business Plan Development: Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans, setting clear objectives, sales targets, and marketing strategies.

Performance Management: Monitor partner performance against agreed-upon KPIs, providing regular feedback, support, and corrective actions as needed to ensure mutual success.

Enablement & Training: Work closely with internal teams to ensure partners receive the necessary product training, technical support, and sales tools to effectively promote and sell Siemens' Protection and Automation Solutions.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Protection and Automation space to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations, fostering trust and collaboration.

Sales Growth: Drive incremental sales growth through channel partners, expanding Siemens' reach and market share with more focus on industrial and infrastructure markets.

Reporting: Provide regular reports on partner performance, pipeline, and market insights to management.

Collaboration: Work with various internal teams, such as regional and local sales personnel, to drive mutual growth.

Promoting Activities: Participate in and develop white papers to raise awareness of Siemens Protection & Automation Products.

Driving Success: SIPROTEC and SICAM product portfolios by working with Channels.
What will you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Technical Engineering role specifically in the Protection & Control and Energy Automation sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related subject area.
- Proven technical knowledge in Electrical Power Systems.
- Aware of protection philosophy, concepts, standards and devices to be able to create value proposition for customer for their Protection System requirements.
- Be able to select the right Protection and Automation devices complying with customer requirements.
- Provide market feedback to Product Lifecycle Management for gaps and required improvement in Siemens Protection & Automation Portfolio.
- Willingness to travel 40% across Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise of emerging concepts including Digital Substations, Cybersecurity and Renewables Integration
- Enthusiast of learning new technologies including IoT, Virtualization, AI, and analytics.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing channel partners.
- Experience working on applications (and software) associated with Protection & Control and Energy Automation
[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 90,000.00 CAD - $ 110,000.00 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus ranging from 18% to 25% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.]
