Job Overview: As the Building Materials Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, leading our Building Materials Department to success. Reporting to the Retail Division Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Shape our vision and values in the department, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
• Develop strategic operating plans and budgets, and design eye-catching merchandising programs.
• Optimize sales and margins through efficient buying, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
• Build and nurture a high-performing team through hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing support.

• Collaborate closely with other departments and suppliers to drive seamless operations.

• Proven leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with team members and customers.
• A strong sense of organization, adaptability, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to balance multiple demands and maintain an eye for detail.
• Industry knowledge and familiarity with business trends.
• Understanding of building practices, including estimating.
• Solid computer skills and technical know-how.

• Experience in retail, including planning, budgeting, and financial management.
