Duties and Responsibilities: Site responsibility for coordination of all shipping & receiving activities. Organize shipping department to ensure a smooth flow of customer’s orders. Plan and balance daily workload to meet objectives of daily shipping schedule including special customer instructions and/or requirements. Process shipping documents as required (pick / pack / ship confirmation process _ Bills Of Lading, Packing Slips, B-13, Customs papers and NAFTA if & when applicable). Maintain safe, clean and well organized warehouse and working areas. Ensure shipping areas are clear and free of any debris or obstructions. Maintain accuracy of shipping & receiving documents. Communicate with customer service group to address questions and/or requirements. Maintain shipping log & metrics. Education and Experience: Excellent leadership skills. Excellent skills in oral and written communication. Above average organization skills. Labour relations Ability to effectively speak before groups. Ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic, and confidential manner.
