JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: AZ Driver – Long Haul

Replacement or New Role: New

Term: Full Time Permanent – work available year round

Reports to: Supervisor, Distribution

Direct Reports: 0

Pay Structure:

Mileage: $0.66

Deliveries: $18

Layover: $175

Bonus: No

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Conduct daily pre & post trips of vehicle.
* Pick up, deliver and load/unload product
* Use of pallet jack to load/unload
* Use of electronic logs
* Document all required information accurately and legibly, using driver
logbook, trip reports, accident/incident reports and maintenance of
temperature on reefers.
* Be punctual for scheduled appointments and dock times.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Clean CVOR & Abstract (minimum of 2 years clean driving record - AZ)
* Strong interpersonal skills and be able to function effectively with minimal
supervision.
* Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Ability to work early mornings (between 1:00am to 4:00am start times).
* Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to handle large
workload, loading trailers with pallet jacks.
* Bilingual with English/French considered an asset.
