General Athletic Department Operations
- Coordinate with coaches and staff that host summer camps, creating registrations forms and websites with our Active Network website. Also updating the camp pages on the Wheaton Athletics Website and helping create promotional items for camps.

Oversee and supervise Ryken’s Rowdies.
- Setup and coordinate promotional days and events for encouraging attendance and support at sporting events
- Hire student workers to help run these gameday promotions for Ryken’s Rowdies and have a social media presence.
- Work with the promotions budget and find other avenues to have giveaways and promotional items for Ryken’s Rowdies.

Put content on videoboards at McCully Stadium and King Arena for sporting events
- Hire students to create content for video boards

Update and create content for TV monitors in Chrouser Sports Complex and for new addition to Chrouser Sports Complex.

Athletics Communications Operations
- Create Gameday programs for volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, football, men’s and women’s basketball
- Assist with updating the Wheaton Athletics website general content: bios, forms, camp information, sponsor information, etc.
- Assist with creation, distribution, and oversight of Wheaton Athletics season passes.
- Assist with creation and distribution of team rosters.
- Serve as co-contact for Wheaton College volleyball, overseeing gameday operations, game staffing, event setup and videoboard coordination.
- Work with department photographer or other professionals to coordinate “media days”.

Athletics Office Operations
- Assist with the hiring and processing of student worker information to and for Oracle for: game staff, sports information, broadcasting, promotions/Ryken’s Rowdies, athletic training and the equipment room.
- Receive phone calls and visitors, respond to queries and/or refer them to appropriate personnel both inside and outside the department.

Maintain office organization, including filing, posting mail, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, completing mailings, running errands, petty cash for staff members and making deposits.

Athletics Game Day Operations

Work at select sporting events as a game day operations manager, particularly at volleyball matches and the Marilyn Scribner Invitational.
- As gameday operations manager the person will arrive at least 60 minutes before event start and stay up to 30 minutes after the conclusion and make sure event and workers are all finished.
- Occasionally work a specific part of the event (ie., clock or scoreboard).
- Hire and supervise student workers and volunteers to work at scorer’s table at men’s & women’s basketball games, volleyball matches, pressbox at men’s & women’s soccer matches, scoreboards at baseball & softball.
- Work with the Athletics Communications Director and Special Projects Manager for hospitality at special events like: Hall of Honor, Homecoming, Pete Willson-Wheaton Invitational, Marilyn Scribner Invitational, Lee Pfund Classic, Beth Baker Classic, D3Week and more.

Coaching
- Position will have responsibilities as an assistant coach for a women’s sport – most likely softball.
- As a coach, some travel for competitions and recruiting may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Excellent computer skills (or willingness to learn), with knowledge of the following: Microsoft Office as well as desktop publishing programs like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience competing in or coaching a women’s sport.

Physical Requirements
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 10 pounds.
