Anticipated Transportation Coordinator

ANTICIPATED TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

12 Month Position (starting as early as December 1, 2026)

The District is seeking a qualified and experienced Transportation Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the transportation department. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of students and supervises transportation personnel, routing, and fleet maintenance. Reports To: School Business Administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

� Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
� Excellent driving record; five (5) year Driver's Abstract required
� School transportation experience
� Knowledge of New Jersey laws and regulations related to pupil transportation and school bus operations
� Experience with personnel supervision, route scheduling, fleet maintenance, and cost containment
� Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
� Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
� Availability for on-site work, on-call responsibilities, and periodic overtime
� Successful completion of criminal history background check
� Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
� New Jersey residency or agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment
� Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000  12-month position, for the 26-27 school year.

The position includes health benefits with employee contribution, paid sick, family illness, emergency, personal and vacation days.
