The City and County of Denver offers competitive pay commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $68,773 - $91,124/annually, based on experience and education. The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work two (2) days in office and three (3) days remotely. For your in-office days, you can expect to work on-site at the Webb Municipal Building (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202).
Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.

The DOTI Program Management Division (PMD) is seeking an Administrator to support DOTI’s enterprise-wide engineering capital delivery and special city-wide initiatives. This position will support all of PMD’s services including supporting DOTI program and project managers delivering hundreds of individual projects, as well as supporting enterprise-wide various efforts. Our group also leads or consults on unique projects, policy development and initiatives city-wide as needed.
Specifically, as an Administrator, you will:
Support project and program managers agency-wide to complete requisitions and ensure contract compliance
Maintain contract management, tracking, and reporting systems
Support in the facilitation and administration of DOTI’s Project Management Information System.
Prepare and Present information to staff, city management, vendors, and contractors.
Provide technical support to PMD’s project controls, project management, and program management teams.
Conduct research and prepare proposals or documentation reflecting conclusions or establishing recommendations, establishing procedures, controls, or compliance
Maintain contract and resource document archives.
Coordinate with other department contract managers and procurement teams
Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:
Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to achieve positive outcomes in working with diverse groups of employees, stakeholders, political leaders, community leaders, public, and private entities.
Preparing and maintaining project work plans, schedules, scopes, and budgets.
Overseeing diverse contracts across multiple departments and vendors, preferably with a governmental entity or municipality and/or relating to design or construction projects
Working with state, federal, or city entities and/or familiarity with public-sector operations
Interpreting legal contracts and grant language, and accurately applying terms and conditions
Familiarity with the following systems is preferred, but not required; Salesforce, Workday, BOX/JAGGAER, Project Management Information Systems (i.e. Procore, Masterworks, etc.)
Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years’ experience performing full performance professional level duties within a specialized, functional area. (This does not include clerical experience.)
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
