Job Description
We're looking for a motivated, self-starting individual who will oversee all aspects of international equine air transport operations within the U.S. market. This role combines expertise in live animal logistics with hands-on equine knowledge to ensure that every shipment meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism. The successful candidate will manage client relationships nationwide, coordinate complex transport logistics, and lead a dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient movements of horses worldwide.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and capable of managing many moving parts. With shipments consisting of an average of 140 horses, this person must have a strong foundation in equine welfare and be operations-minded to ensure all logistics are both efficient and horse-welfate-appropriate. The ability to grow and maintain key B2B connections is paramount to success.
Job Duties
* Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and trust.
* Coordinate and monitor all aspects of animal (equine) transport logistics, both domestically and internationally.
* Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local transport regulations and animal welfare standards.
* Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and transport documentation.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and service providers.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Proactively resolve customer inquiries, service issues, or escalations with professionalism and efficiency.
* Track shipments, provide timely updates to clients, and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
* Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational performance and customer experience.
* Contribute to the growth and development of Equine Transport services in the US Markets
