Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As part of a dynamic team at PH&N Investment Services (a subsidiary of RBC Global Asset Management), you will be primarily tasked with extracting key data and information to meet the organization’s information system needs and requirements as part of a business wide transition to a new customer relationship management system. You will work closely with our management team to identify and analyze data trends, patterns, and insights that will help us make informed business decisions. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of how investment dealers and asset management firms work by shadowing and assisting our expert team of investment advisors.

What will you do?

  • Process Analysis & Optimization: Map and document existing operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose streamlined solutions to improve efficiency during the CRM transition.
  • CRM Implementation Support: Assist in configuring, testing, and validating CRM system workflows to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Training & Change Management: Help develop training materials, deliver user tutorials, and support stakeholders in adopting new CRM processes.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use enterprise AI tools to analyze operational data, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, compliance, sales, and client service teams to ensure smooth CRM integration and process standardization.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures, training guides, and system updates for internal reference.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Pursuing a bachelors degree.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools across all aspects of the role, including data analysis, process documentation, and workflow optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational challenges into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-have

  • Pursuing a bachelors degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or project experience in financial services, asset management, or operational process improvement.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or change management frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience creating training materials, tutorials, or conducting end-user training sessions.

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e., are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.
